Default Fantom Racing...

Is Fantom Racing still around or doing anything new with their motors? They seem to never be mentioned anymore after they won the Birds with Myberg. Is anyone running for them in TC anymore?

They still have one of the coolest names, logos, and designs in RC :P

Anyway...Just wondering if anyone knew what was going on with Troy.

Everything seems fine here, motors ship, parts arrive, etc.

I know they are working a new deal for Nitro engines too.

Myberg never won the birds....they won the year before with Burch....and then won Cleveland in 2004 also.....Burch left soon after, as did Cyrul right after the cleveland win....as did a few other drivers...

The Myberg brothers are all thats left really in onroad.....

Well, they released the Alloy motors (Epic Shock based) a couple of weeks ago, so they're not on the lazy side. These motors are awsome.

Troy/Fantom is still around and going strong, just moved into a brand new facility with a carpet on-road track and a large outdoor 1/8th scale offroad track.
He was in attendence at the IIC and did very well for the limited number of drivers he had there (about five)
True, their racing presence here in the U.S. isn't as strong as it once was, but there are reasons for that.
I believe that in the next couple of months we will be hearing about a lot of new things coming from Fantom

I've been running the new alloy modifieds for the last month and they are great. I've got about 12 runs on the brushes in my 8x1 with cutting it every 2 runs and cleaning the brushes with a fiberglass comm stick.

Nexus,
You can get them based off of what ever motor you want
I Just got 4 C2s yesterday.
Call and talk to Jeff at 269-483-0200, he will give you the part numbers for the different versions, after you get the part numbers any hobby shop should be able to get them.
