Heres a place that someone could try if they're having trouble finding one. This is where I got mine from. They got my order processed and shipped out (w/UPS tracking #) within hour of me placing the order. This was my first time ordering from them, but it was definitely a excellent first impression.

This relates to another new or should I say revised 19t. Has anybody tried the Komodo Dragon?

For those who are having trouble finding the Money Motors, we had 65 come in on Monday ... We're down to about 30 or so, still selling at $42.99. Gladly ship inside the USA. The url is listed below.

I dont think that is right We run C2's and Atlas's in the 1.20-1.35 range
Can anyone tell us about this motor? Just a basic answer... should it be geared more like a C2 or a Reedy Quad... some one must have actually ran one

For TC rubber, put the Infinity brushes in and gear it like a Reedy QM.

Talking RE: Gearing!

If I gear it like a Reedy quad mag. were talking 5.4 FDR. What's a good operating temp. for these motors. I'll test it this weekend and start at 6.0 and work my way down until the temp gets crazy. We pulled a car off the track with a Reedy quad and it was tosty at 200 deg. F. But it was damm fast! You could smell the motor cooking! I won't go this high with the checkpoint, but you know somebody will!
Hope it doesn't rain this weekend! Need to do some testing!

I think these motor's will require more gear than any other 19t looking at the dyno #'s, torque is higher than any other 19t me and my 3 other racers have. That's Dynasty's, QM, Atlas blue cans, and C2 motors tuned by some of the top companies on this board. This CP was straight out the the package.

So what ever you carpet freaks ()get rollout to, there is the FDR.

I also spoke with EA about getting them tuned....

His reply,
There isn't much to do to tune these.....
Magnets are super high quality and well they have special brushes so there isn't too much to so there either...
Just leaves springs and well cutting the comm...LOL
That really helps level the field although when EA gets OEM's I will get them from him but that tells me Dwane and Company did there homework and put out one stupid fast, easy to maintain, ease of tuning and long lasting motors out..

You guys are talking about 6.0, 5.8, and 5.6 for the FDR! What are the temps coming off the tracks for the motor after running it like that? I'm used to running a C2, and the lowest I've ever run that one was like 6.4.

I've always been told that heat is the enemy, so what kind of damage is a FDR of 5.6 gonna do to the comm?!?

I'm certainly no motor expert, so I figured I'd ask people who know more than I do about the subject. I want to get the most out of my 'money motor' when I get it, but I also want it to last me the season.

I haven't thrown this badboy on my dyno, but I would imagine with gearing like that it has torque from hell, in which case it won't mind that kind of gearing.

Well on things for sure, with that kind of gearing, the thing will be insanely fast!
