So these motors are out now? I had been wanting to get a checkpoint 19 for a while, but the things never seem to actually "exist". They seemed to be perpetually on Towerhobbies "Late <insert month>" listing. So where is a good place to buy them? I really want to try one, and I love that motor label too!

I got mine at tower hobbies, you literally have to check every day and when it is available, SNAG IT

are these like the modifieds?

because on their site it doesn't say anything about getting the same performance after 10 or 20 runs like the modifieds.

what's the difference between the checkpoint 19t and the atlas?

Well damn!

I had stopped checking because the things were never there. I guess I'll keep checking Tower and Stormer since both of them always list them as "on-order" or "Late <insert month>".

Thanks for the answer.

Your local hobby shop should be able to order them now...

Mine got in five cause I made them back order three of them and then one of the other employees back ordered two more and all five were gone in less than an hour...
But first try to support your local hobby shop...other wise you won't have a Local Hobby Shop...

Oh just shoot Etracter a PM for the FDR he has had one for a month or so now...LOL
Once he answers mine than I will post...
But from what I remebered it was like 5.8 or lower for small tracks...

Cool

I have also been thinking of getting one of these. Is it just as fast or faster than the C2? Because the Cobalt 19 is the slowest motor ever, slower than the P2K2 I use to run my lathe.

Do you think that's why they came out with the komodo?
