you missed the bus on this one...taking material out does take away some rotating mass but thier is way more going on than you think..if you really knew how a motor worked i could go into more detail, eddie o knows only what was told to him he doesnt really know that much , sorry but its true .
the sleeve cut motors that orion uses only work when you use the small brush that nobody on the street will ever have...the next time you go to a big race check the orion guys enbells if they have a negative line only on the endbell its the small brush, this is what makes the efficiency for the v2 ...

Thats funny....I don't know much....

I didn't want to get in a whole long drawn explantion of why it does what it does...he asked if it increased RPM, I said it does in theory because of the reduced iron mass.....which is a correct statement.

I understand how it works just fine......

Seems an old Ti that I built this weekend TQed over the Checkpoint stuff....gotta like it.

Long and the short of it.....a lot of the stuff out there is fast....and can be won with in the hands of any of the top drivers....

I love those who hide behind fake screen names acting like know it alls....

Didnt mean to start a war here. If you are going to drop accusations why not at least drop your name. You see also very knowledgable.

I too would like to know more about how the sleve works. I am trying to learn as much as possible for my own curiosity.

Nobody has the checkpoint teardowns yet....I have my info setup with Great Planes, as required.....nobody else has them anyways....pricing is not setup yet through Great Planes....

And Dumas had already signed BEFORE we had any comittment to get OEM Checkpoint stuff.....it was never part of the agreement.....I will gladly take a lie detector test and pass with flyin colors....but you know this right? How would you know such info?

I've never claimed I know it all....I often get stumped, just like everyone does.....when I don't know something.....I ask, thats what smart people do.

Your explanation looks fine to me....no need to further explain....you are the one and only motor guy.....

So enough of the Checkpoint bandwagon......jump off the Chris Tosolini bandwagon while yer at it.......Chris and I are fine.....hung out this past weekend and had some fun....

And why does my race have any bearing on anything......the RC industry has always worked by buying the top drivers.......not sure how I am any different than Trinity, Orion, Reedy or whoever pays a driver....

I just talked to Toso........

Maybell? Are you kidding me......you never talk to Maybell....and he talks to none of you.....go re-read his post.....you and numan have a strange way of reading things, he didn't mean it how it came off.....probably all the pot he smokes........Maybell knew nothing about the Dumas dealings.....only Porno and Micro T did....

Quit kidding yourself.....you think you know.....sure sounds like yer just repeating stuff bitter told you, as Oscar is the only one that calls the cut a sleeve....funny.
