The extra blankets were a very nice touch, After the hotel guy came over and said Yup!!! the heat's broken and the heater repair guy is off till the next day. They did send us the blankets. The broken door, they just gave us a discount at checkout as they never fixed it either.

ps can't wait for next year to do it all over again!!!!!!

We lost one of our banners... no biggie except it was a fairly sentimental unique item and a spendy full color version. We have lots of banners for give away and we would trade 2 for 1 to get it back...

At least is was cool enough to that it was worth swiping. It was a one of a kind.....

Last year someone stole a charger... Little do they know it had a tracking device in it and we will be decending on them at any time...

Dang, why wait? Bandwidth? Just submit them to Google Video and then use the link they provide to "put this on my site" and you can embed it right in rc50.com. No Real Player, no bandwidth concerns, people can still download the video if they want, everybody is happy. It's a great alternative to worrying about hosting your own stuff, and they even do all the file conversion for you. It's totally easy, and the videos play right in your site, so you don't have to send people away from it. It's free, too, no ads or anything.

By the way, thanks for the hard work with the videos. I try to keep a copy of all of them to study the lines people take. I find them extremely helpful.

One highlight from the weekend was the appearance of Carl Edwards. He mentioned the Snowbirds a few times on TNT and Speed and came on his own to check out the racing. He and I got to talk about an hour and he said a lot of Nascar drivers know about the 'birds and follow it. He also wants to help promote it and thinks it is a great hobby. Carl mentioned he raced in Missouri growing up and read Car Action as a kid. It was a big thrill to think that Nascar drivers are thinking of RC, as we think about Nascar. It was awesome to have him run some laps and have the racers cheer him on. Carl had chills he told me and was totally blown away with the racers and how they responded to him at the track!! Todd Bodine also came by on Sunday to watch all the races again for the 2nd year now. Sweet!!
