Instead of pint glasses and a spare body....maybe Mike can give us Snowbirds crying towles next year.
You on-road guys are a bunch of meanies!!!!
and Lil Timmy---- your oval slams are very original.
Not all oval guys are uptight complainers.
non-offended oval guy
Good times...peace

I was back in the main room sometime before the sun went down sunday and yea there was some trash around, but I wouldnt say it was super dirty. Just stuff here and there. And yea some of the yelling during racing can get on your nerves but it wasn't near as bad and having to listen to the people on the stand just bitch and bitch about "Hey man you hit me, hey move over, you just wait buddy" As for the drinking, I'd have to say that I really think it was toned down a lot from last year. Not selling beer in the courtyard had something to do with that I think. The only problem I have with the race is how awful that hotel is. Words can't describe it. From our door not having a latch on the frame. To the chairs in the room that were breaking. The missing fridge and the rust spots on the floor where it use to be. The fridge they brought us that wouldnt stay closed. The TV the blew up the first time we turned it on. Thats about all I can remember right now. Brian might remember more.

And for the majority of people who pit in their own rooms, you know they cleaned up to avoid the hotel tacking extra fees on your credit card..LOL
But where is the fun in that? Oh yea being the very farthest room from the track had one sole advantage, wireless to watch all the arguments on forums during the race.

Dave- why do you hate on-road guys sooo much??? LMAO!! Every year it's the same crap with you!! All you do is bitch and complain.
Just to inform you by the way that while everyone had packed and left, EA and myself were using the garbage bags that were left there for us to clean our pit areas. You might also be interested in knowing that Ralph "Sralph" Burch was sweeping and picking up the Xray pit area. The reason I bring this up is you seem adamant to point out the faults of certain teams. Yes, I am on the Xray team as well, but am only responding because it is unfair to generalize. It seems that in your eyes, the oval crowd are nothing but the patron saints of cleanliness, morality and good behavior.......NOT!!!!
Go back and read your posts and see if at any point you found fault with the "oval" side?
Let it go man........just let it go.
Oh and by the way, I am part of the on-road crowd that you procalim is a cancer to this hobby. I can guarantee you this, you can ask ANYONE around the country about how I conduct myself or represent my sponsors and I can assure you that not one soul will tell you they feel that I or any of the guys/gals that I race with can be considered a cancer or detriment to this hobby.

resorts would be great...... more room to have everyone be able to pit downstairs would be great... something else to make it better, not get charged for every friggen phone call out of the room... i mean for $90/night, you'd think they could drop that... we picked up our room for the most part, but the carpet was so bad in there to begin with, i didnt know what was already there... as to manufacture's row... I would have to agree with what was already said, those spots come at a high price, and should have some kind of cleanup included while i had a blast this year, it seems like the biggest problem (if you can even call it that) is the hotel itself... I wonder if there are any other hotels not right in the middle of tourist city there that could handle a race of this size and a cheaper price...

I must say thats one thing I'll never forget. I walked out of the track room and looked at Butter and there was just like this unspoken understanding between us that we both just saw something really scary and just plain not right. They sure as hell don't grow them like that around here.

could always move the snowbirds to Atlantic city. Atlantic city in the winter and Vegas in the summer. What could be better????
