its quicker....we are running the snowbirds layout from last year

My fastest lap times were 4/10th quicker than i was running in the week with the 05, although during the week there is less traction as there are no other cars, and its colder.

You brought up the picture and the wide deck...I was just pointing out that it still uses the buttonheads like the standard, and the wide part of the deck wasn't fastened....essentially making it very similar to the stock piece....

Any and all feedback on the car at this point is appreciated, don't get me wrong.

yes, it has the same number of screws, but it is solid, unlike the kit ones, which have the vari-flex stots.

Well I have seen the new T2 in action on pretty good traction carpet.
First: Andy (BritRacer), did a hell of a job today. He is usually a high B mainer at our local track and he ended up qualifying 2nd in the A.

Second: The 05 is still a good car, but there is a noticable difference in ease of driving and corner speed.

Third: I saw this car that was tweaked....you could visually see the tweak. The new xray is not tweak free.

Fourth: I sold my 05 minutes after the A today.

thanks chris, although I think praticing every day for the past 5 weeks had more to do with the qualifying than just changing the car I was running 11.2s and 11.1s with the 05.

I just got fed up nearly having a good run ....lol

Good racing, looking forward to next weekend when you pull out the T2 too

Na, you wont be seeing mine until the next series race. I have to work.
11.1's aren't going to work if he keeps the track the same. Your going to have to dip into the 10's.

i know, but that was during the week, on race day when the traction comes up and the adrenaline kicks in, you speed up.

Was close today....but was not going balls out, as there were no spares available. I pulled off in the 3rd heat to be sure i would be able to run the main, knew my qualifying time was safe.
