Waiting on mine from Speedtech. I gotta say they are top notch when it comes to customer support.

ChrisP or teamgp: Did we get an answer on the possible chassis tweak problem when the car is set up with a medium or soft chassis?

Hey guys, i am building a multi diff for the first time and just read the directions where it said that you should put "one way oil" on the one way bearings.. Couple of questions:

1. what is one way oil
2. are they pre-oiled from the factory so i could put this together and use it or do i have to wait for some to arrive before using?

Not sure if this is off topic or not, if it is i apologize.

this is from the Novak race up at Trackside.

Does anyone know if that wide upper deck comes with the US kits?

WOW!!! I was just looking at that picture and didn't notice that. It looks like a modifide FK05 top deck. maybe something made at the track to stiffen up the car.

There goes the one chassis all conditions statement. Which for me is fine as I was worried it would be too stiff anyway. I would think that unless ur competeing nationaly that your not gonna be helped by just a wider top deck.

Killa that is a 3 racing heatsink/fan combo. You can get it from precisionrc.com (my spelling may be off) it's like $5 but shipping is $10+ He modded the way the fan is mounted and used a different fan

oh, and carpet ready my arse.

You have to reduce the width of the fronts to stop them binding.

TeamGP - Can you tell me what size nuts are included with the kit?

I know I need to get a 7mm for the wheel nut. Is there any other size needed?

Thanks!

If you plan on using lighter titanium screws, I'd suggest that you DO NOT replace the following:

* all screws mounting from the bottom of the chassis - you'll probably have to add weight to make the minimum requirement for rubber and foam rules, and adding it up higher would defeat the purpose
* all suspension holder mounting screws - the titanium ones will bend more easily in a crash and introduce tweak through differing arm geometries

If you plan on using steep camber angles with large shims under the outer links, then you'll need to switch the following:

* Replace the 2 HEX SCREW SH M3x12 (button head) with 2 HEX SCREW SH M3x14 (button head) for the rear links
* Replace the 2 HEX SCREW SH M3x14 (button head) with 2 HEX SCREW SH M3x16 (button head) for the front links

NOTE: The kit comes with the latest *black* coated screws which resist binding to the CF much better. As per the manual, we still suggest applying a thin layer of CA with a Q-tip to the counter sunk holes on the bottom of the chassis. Make sure you wipe away the excess CA from the flat surface on the top and bottom sides of the chassis.
