You guys are spoiled. In Scandinavia ( Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland ) the price is approx. 550 US bucks.

550$ with or without TAX?

In the US they always list the price without tax and the tax is only 6% except when you buy online then you don't have to pay tax (but there is the shipping)
So if you see a price like 399$ in a hobby shop you have to pay 423$. OK it is still far from 550

6% where do you live???? ...7.25% here where I live. And you have to pay sales tax if the online store is in your same state *or* they have a "brick and mortar" in the state they are shipping out to.

Michigan 6%
You are right, but if you go to shop online you are dumb if you chose the online store in your state

So back to the original 550$ thats 440 + tax (25%). Thats only 40 bucks difference the rest you pay to your government... it still sucks

looks like they already have a wider top deck for the car

http://www.rc50.com/modules.php?name...lbum=14&pos=89

this is from the Novak race up at Trackside.

Does anyone know if that wide upper deck comes with the US kits?

Hello guys,

Just finished the car and thought i'd share some pictures.

I made a velcro strap to hold in the batteries. Seems to be working because I held the car upside down and I shook the car in all directions and the batteries don't move.

One happy customer
