You would also have trouble because the bulkheads in the T2 are threaded and no longer use the 302032 suspension nuts, but you should be able to just use the 302041&0 with the 302032's to replace the arm mounts, then just shim it out to your desired width... Again this would be kinda on the expensive side... the side where it maybe worth your while to just purchase a T2.
Now that's good news since I'm worry about T1's parts supply, since it's narrower I can just shim it out...

Any idea how narrower? 2mm side to side maybe?

Will the shock springs from the FK'05 fit the T2?

I've read before (either in this thread or on the XRAY forum) that all the existing springs will fit.

FYI,

The FK05 motor guard will fit the T2. I'll have a few more answers to previous questions by the weekend.

Hey Guy. I have 2 questions.

-I was looking at the pictures of the new car. Where would you mount the front and rear sway bars?

-Also from the pictures it doesn't look like the battery slots were beveled at all. Please say it aint so...God I hate filing those battery slots to fit the newer 3800's. Did they bevel the slots at all? Thanks...

The sway bars mount to the very front hole in the bulkheads kind of like the rear sway bar mounted on the old car but with a set screw to keep from having slop, the rear mounts the same way as the front one does...

The chassis have the corners on the battery slots chamfered... But fit will always change from pack to pack...

I'm a STICKLER for fine detail. Having said that, it took me all of 15 minutes to file the slots a little more to where all four of my top IB3800 packs fit less than .5mm higher than the bottom of the chassis.

Oh...I see where the sway bays mount now. Thank You

And about the battery slots. I now some packs fit in there diffrent from others but couldn't they have beveled them out a little more. I just looked at a close-up picture on X-Rays websight. Oh Man.. It looks like I am going to have to do some major filing. Oh well I guess it is a small price to pay for this sweet new car..
