T2- dominated 2006.
T2007- will dominate 2007 and its beginning o happen.
T2R- will dominate if T2 and T2007 did'nt exist.

I guess after a year the T2 was already old and they nead to modify it a bit so the T2007 was born. But still the T2 is an excellent car and so is the T2007. everything is interchangeable.
As for the T2R, is a cheaper version of the T2 platform. good for stock racing.

I just wanted to give a big thank you to Espo and Paul lemieux for helping me out with my T2. I had rec'd it monday and was at the on-road nats on friday. their input was an enormous help. Too bad the car is far faster than I can drive it. Thanks again--Al

how does the T2 compare to the T2'007. i am getting a used T2 at a good price and want to run it in mod with a 3.5R brushless. i have never run any XRay cars and have only run Tamiya Evo5's and MSXX and Pro4's. how would you guys rate the T2 against these cars? would it be better for me to get a T2'007?

The T2 is every bit cabable as a 007 at kicking the asses of any touring car on the market. The on thing about xray is they got staying power. Locally we still got great drivers handing it to us running the FK04. Its all about the driver

IF you get a good deal on the T2 grab it, also keep in mind that you can always convert the T2 to 007EU or US specs later as they sell a conversion kit....

I agree with Joel. I never swich over the 007 since I can't see how it could be better Its always nice to get the latest gratest but if the price is right go for it.

What are you racing, Rubber? For foam you may see a difference as the car is not as stiff as the 007. but rubber...

Default More HPI parts for my Xray.

My hobby shop became overstocked with TC parts a few years ago. I mean alot, so much they are overstocked and deep discounting any thing that is not a Traxxas. I know that a RS4 nitro uses a 60T belt. I know my xray uses a 60T belt. But the xray pully is 4mm wide, the RS4 6mm. I bought one belt ($4) broght it home, put it on the cutting board and trimmed the belt to fit my xray. I ended up with 3.5mm to allow for float and resist twisting. The xray belts are 3mm and sometimes turnover on itself.

Well it worked. I saved $12 by not buying a $16 belt and saved on shipping too.

Does anyone have a good setup for a T2 for 13.5 rubber? This is for a high bite carpet track. pretty technical. All help is greatly appreciated.
