Whoever you saw probably sent them to someone to have them anodized.

Bummer, I don't normally add bling to my cars but I figured since I have to replace the bulkheads I might as well upgrade.

check around locally. You might find someone who'll do it for you at a reasonable price

yep that was me, if you live in australia here is the guys details that did the job for me, just make sure that you stipulate that you want a shiney anodised or else he will do the colour and not make it shiney (ie the anodising will look like a heat sink froma nitro engine.

How much did it cost you in USD money? And what was the turn around time?

Hello there,
I have done the anodising of the FK05 by myself with very good results.Comparatively ,I see that the T2 has a much more shiny look and I wonder i they are already anodised (just not coloured).Since the T2 is not mine ,I do not want to scratch a couple of parts to see if this is the case.
I hope that somebody can help in order for me to be able to provide my services to more T2 owners in the future. Thanks

Got my plate from Art at IRP yesterday. Stuck my new T2 in it & wow was it not flat! I had to enlarge the holes in the top plate to flatten it out. On a flat surface it would actually rock from side to side. Loosen the screws & it would flatten out. You could feel the 4 screws in the plate bind when I tried to tighten them down until I enlarged the top plate holes. Tried my first T2 & it was fine. I may have never known this without this product. Art also says that a lot of people just put their car in the plate right after your run & it helps cool the whole car down. Definately will be in my pit box from now on. Thanks Art. R.W.

Just got my tweak board from Art. If you have a T2 this is one item that should be in your pits. Thanks Art.
