I repeat: it is - what it is. It happened, period. Why do you have a hard time dealing with the truth? You're beginning to sound like a UFO debunker. This just shows that Xray, like all other r/c companies, isn't perfect. Are you so worried about their image being tarnished? It's not that big a deal, buddy. The best thing that happened was Xray acknowledging their was a problem and then fixing it. Done and done.

btw...I talked to Latif and grabbed some bumpers this past weekend...thanks again.....any idea how long it will take to get a T2 bumper out once the kit lands?
Well most of Team Xray seem to like the bumpers; so I will check with one of the guys and see if we can get a head start

Hello PW,

The new foam bumper is different, because of the hole locations in the bumper.

Isn't there a tiny nbit of Irony here...
I have never seen so much complaining about a new model...
Sheesh...
The LOSI guys almost lost there minds when the JRSX finally hit the shelfs..
The Tamyia guys are all happy cause there car is getting itself a face lift.
The TC3 guys were really happy cause they finally got a new car...
The Corally Guys are just happy...LOL
If the car is better, faster or will just break less....Good for inovation...Good for the racers trying to loose that impossible .2sec per lap...
BIG IDEA HERE>>>>>
The FK05 is still one sweet car and if I wasn't already very happy with my RDX I would have already snatched up one of the many in the for sale forum...Sad day for Xray fans...
When there own racers complain about a new model...
Just my two pennies....

Heck...looking at the features and adjustability of the new car I'm ecstatic!

but then again i'm a brand crusader as kewdawg would say.....

The biggest problem with the launch of a new kit is that people feel that the performance of their older kit has been somehow diminished....and that's clearly not the case....the FK05 is every bit as quick and adjustable as it was the day before the T2 was announced

Default Xray's for sale

Just last week I was looking for a new/used fk05 here, ebay and with online places and found nothing reasonable. Just this morning, did the same search and found more than I can imagine (still a bit pricey). Even found a shop that mysteriosuly had 05's on their shelf for regular price that weren't there last week :-). In about a week, you'll be able to get an 05 for a steal (like what happened with TC3's just a few months ago).

Just goes to show you that even in RC, it's all just business ($$).
