Just built mine last weekend, I had no issues with tow or tweak. Both of my LHS's have full stock of all parts there should be no issues with parts availability.

The plastic ones can break quit easy. I know I did. I hit the wall just right. So I went out and found some really cool Tamyia shocks.

yes TRF shocks are one of the nicest if not the nicest shocks in the market today but aside from performance i'm also looking for the looks tamiya have the gun metal shock bodies i'm looking for the shiny ones that will matched with the aluminum hop-ups of the T-2

Is anyone having probs with the non countersunk top deck of the t2,i have one on the way and was wondering if i should countersink them, but i thought xray would have done it already unless it was better without it being counter sunk???? plz help!

Countersunk top deck is a better design and helps stop tweak. Xray countersunk the top deck on all previous models T1'fk05, 04, T1 evo2, T1 and T1 racer. There was no tweak isssue with the previous cars, but the T2 is palgued with a tweak reputation as I have read on RC Tech. Apparently Xray chose to save money on the T2 by not countersinking the screws and it has caused problems. Luckily you can countersink yourself or buy a countersunk top deck from BMI. Xray machining is soo nice it's too bad it wasn't machined "right at the factory". IMO

The decision to not countersink the upper deck was done from a design standpoint not a financial standpoint.

When you consider the required CNC mchine time to countersink the holes you'd see that the difference in time is negligible, especially once you factor in that (if bulk processed on the same run as the main chassis plate) the tool changes to insert the countersink bit into the machine have already been done(not that a high end CNC machine takes long for this step anyway)

i thought they said the reason why it wasnt countersunk was because there was less of a chance of tweaking the chassis as the use of the screws they used on top deck pull down evenly over over it, whereas the countersunk ones pull down into the cone of the countersunk bit in top deck, which only has to be out by a mickey hair to cause un fixable tweak etc.

i havent had any chassis related tweak issues with the t2 yet... been running it in stock class mainly full stiff chassis flex tho. maybe the tweak issue is happening to people running softer or softest flex option...? as the chassis is going to flex and wouldnt take much i suppose like a hard bump to possibly do damage to related parts.
