Indoor on carpet with rubber tires would you go for a BMI carpet or asphalt chassis kit? I was thinking along the lines of the BMI carpet chassis been designed for indoor with foams?

One further thing does anyone have a good base setup for indoor carpet with rubber tires? My car has got a pickles chassis and top deck on it at the moment. Am i best with dual diff's or a multi diff up front set as a oneway? Just need a base to get me up and running. There are so many setups on the xray site and i just wanted to know which was the best base starting point?

Hey Rick,

Just a few questions. Are you running stock? Do you have the stock T2 chassis? What kind of traction does the track have? Does your local track have a control rubber tire?

The multidiff as a one way would be a good place to start, but it may be a little twitchy. If this feels too twitchy than I would go with the dual diffs and that is one of the great things about the T2 (Easily able to change out diffs).

Mike

Hey Mike. Thanks for the help last weekend. I would have looked for everything except a bent screw. Car worked good after that.

Try Martin Hudys Gp cup TQ setup. I used his setup in stock rubber on carpet and it was very good. If traction is low move the rear tie rod down to help with traction. When traction came up I also ran a locked oneway. It calmed it down and still had steering.
