Hi Guys,

I have 20-32 teeth pinions all 48 pitch.

Will these fit the 64Pitch range of Xray spurs?

What is the fit like, do they mesh ok?

Or should I grab hold of 64p pinions also?

Thanks

Itís a squaring fixture designed to perfectly square the T2 front to rear, side to side, and corner to corner. I designed it to accommodate screws going all the way through the bottom. The battery taping area, the lower bell crank area, and the servo mounting screw sections are pocketed so the chassis can rest perfectly flat with no obstruction. Just take a completely assembled T2 ready to go on the track and bolt it to the fixture using the 4 weight screw holes on the chassis corners. Then loosen all the top plate, bulkhead, diff cover, etc, etc, screws and re-tighten them. It works very well. It has a 3mm ledge around the outside so you can use it as a car stand. The unit shown is just the prototype. The production version will have 3-inch long thumbscrews to fasten the car to the plate. Let me know what you guys think.
I like how you have the recess for the tape...I prefer to use (and sometimes re-use) tape, but I hate having to remove it to flatten my car. Also, I usually cannot have a battery installed to flatten the car...because I typically press down with my thumb and index finger along the center of the chassis.

So, how much $$$ are we talking??...I hope you surprise me, because it doesn't look cheap!

Nova-You will definately want to match your pinions and spurs pitch....you can not mix 48p with 64p. 64p is a fine tooth mesh while 48p is a lot larger than of course the largest being 32p.

it doesn't say XRAY on it, so it shouldn't be too bad

should be pretty cool and handy to have one

When I was using the prototype this past Sunday, I believe he said the price was $85. I thought he was going to say $150 or something. It's definitely worth it for the time I saved and the ease of making the car perfectly flat. I can honestly say that it is going to be part of the normal routine once they hit production. He took my back order so you may want to send him a PM or email so he can get an idea of how many torque plates he will make in the first run.

Art, what is your email and contact info so people can let you know they are interested? Is there any more info you can provide?

I am taking Paypal Prepay orders now. As soon as the payment is in, your on the list. Production will begin in the next week or so. Did I happen to mention the facility making this for me happens to none other than Briener Machine Inc. So I assure you, Not only will they be bling, one of the finest machine shops in existance will be at the manufacturing helm. My email is [email protected]

Thanks for the interest guys,
Art
