About the silver springs, I don't think they're going to produce them.
Just take a look at all the other official Xray photoshoots of any of there cars, they all have those silver springs. I think it's just for the looks.

Some people are making me curious about the new Kyosho, so it isn't that car that Josh Cyrul used at the Reedy Race or one of those shaft cars used by Shinnosuke Adachi?

For details on the Kyosho car, I suggest checking out the appropriate thread...

I wonder when RCCA is going to be posting the T2 info on their site??? TeamXray has released a gallery of photos as well as specs for the car....Heck...I even sent them a message about it...

I bet if it was a new 20lb monster truck it would be up there pretty quick

I'm hearing that the car will hopefully be out to distributors just before christmas... just in time to put together over those holidays with no work

Thats actually something that worries me.
The release so far is "T2"
Does that mean they are going to release the "FKT2" in 4-6 months?
That would suck!

On the Specs it says that the T2 will have larger diameter body posts.
That means that the CF Top Brace, Shock absorbent Bumper and Rubberneck Bumpers wont fit? (Well the rubberneck I'm sure you can just squeeze or make bigger, but what about the others?)

Default No kidding scoob

Wow, I never thought of that... If they release the "FK" version shortly after this one, I'm not going to be happy.

Default Have they done that before?

Has Xray done that before? I know Team Associated is notorious for it, but I just figured this was the new car. Have they done this before on prior kits?

Default I hope the new design allows you to drive it...

more aggressively like the RDX. What's with the smaller wheel bearings now? I hope it's does not have tweak problems, since it looks like the MSX. I was told by someone that it had problems with tweak and they were all ready working on something else. Rummors of course. I like how they made everything easier to wrench on. Me likey... If it's over $400 I'll keep the 05 though.

No they are not working on something else as far as the 415 is concerned, i have that from Satoshi Maezumi himself.

No they didn't.

First car was the T1. Pretty much top notch out of the box
Then the EVO 2 came out... same thing
Then the T1R - budget car, with great specs
Then the EVO2 Freedom of choice (both pillow ball and c hub suspension on the same box)
Then the Factory Kit (aka FK04) - new bulkheads, lots of small refinements but still inspires on previous designs
The Factory Kit 05 (aka FK05) - Major change of transmission layout and general layour of the car
Finally the T2 - A major revision of the FK05 in all the aspects. From bulkheads to layout to suspension and transmission all has been touched.

A big number of the parts since the EVO2 FOC (freedeom os choice) are compatible with the T1R, EVO2 FOC, FK04 and FK05. Only this car will break that tradition but how many brands are there that make the same suspension arm compatible with 4 cars? NONE.
Arms, CVD, Bearings, belts, shocks etc etc are comon to 4 models. That has to be a record in the RC world.

I have them all except the T2 (not goign to sell any of them) and I felt that all of them were the best cars ever since I put my T1 on the track.

All in the time span of what... maybe 4 years? Following in the steps of Tamiya

Ummm..... Tamiya. The 'Leight Weight' suspension fits;
415
415ms
415msx
TA04
TA05
EVO3
EVO4
EVO4MS
TBO2
and there's probably more that I'm leaving off the list... like the 414....
