Im going to try and run the stock foam setup sheet the T2 came with, and then tune it myself from ther, I think its time I start trying to tune my own car instend of going to these setup sheets because it will always be different to the driver.

Anyone run the Basic Foam setup sheet? What adjustments did you see you had to make? Besides going 3mm all around and 3.75 in back rear?
I ran the stock Foam set up. The car felt good. But was a little tight in the turns. I did not use the stock springs. I used AE purple front and copper rear.

I do like Drews set up much better.

You do not need to use metric shims. .039 is 1mm

Tight in turns...what exactly do you mean by that? I was talking to my buddy Mike today and he runs a T2. He said the car without the 3mm all around, just 1mm, he said the car has sharp turns. Like you need to be on the gas all the way in and through the turn or it will slide out on you. I think I noticed that with my friends 04 I ran with, once I got used to the throtle though I won the main.

So do you mean it will slide out on the turns it is so tight? Or is it just like really sensitive to turns? Im running a really powerful servo too (JR Z9000S). Im going to try the stock setup.

Do you think me adding 3mm all around and the 3.75 far rear will help me control the car better (Carpet/Foam/Stock Class)?

Also what should I set my EPA at and all that good stuff, for a starting point at least, I know I will have to play with it out there on the track.

-Mike

PS- I was talking to Bobby and he said to use the Pink up front and Dark Blue in rear. That is what I seen alot of drivers run. Im going to try that. First Im going to try the stock springs though. On those stock springs, the Sliver seems stiffer than the Copper/Yellow...

If you are running on carpet dont even try the stock springs. They are useless with that setup. Go Pink and white.
