Mike the best thing to do is go check out some team driver setup sheets on www.teamxray.com but real quick you want to run the car wide meaning 3mm shims at all 8 corners of the car and that will give you 1 dergee of toe in because the rear hubs have 1 dergee in them... The Novak race would be a good starting point for setup since that was are first race with the car...Hope that helps....Later Drew

I don't have enough shims to run 3 at all 8 corners. The most I can do right now is 2 all around and 3 in rear. Besides the screws they gave me I don't think could handle 3 all around...the others besides far rear could barley fit 2 shims with still being tight with the threads.

2 Shims at all 8 corners (Equal) and the 1 degree rear hubs would be 1* or 0*? 1 Shims all around, 2 in far rear + 1* Hubs = 2*?

Sorry Im trying to picture this all in my head without using the board. Im new to all of this, sorry if the questions are dumb.

-Mike.

Mike no problem at all.. The stock shims are 1.5 mm you have 8 total mounting spots for the arms four up front and four in the rear meaning where they mount to the bulk head stock they want you to put 1 shim which is 1.5mm at 6 of the spots and in the rear rear sorry they want you to put two that would have you running 2 dergee of rear toe in because there is 1 dergee of toe in the rear hubs and then there is the 2nd shim in the rear rear that is 1.5mm so tatal 3mm that is another dergee and that is stock ....so what I am saying run 3mm shims at all 8 spots and that will have you running 1 dergee of outboard toe in so this means that you need 6 1.5 mm shims to do that with what is in the kit the screws should work .. Hope this helps if not I will pm my phone number to you and we can talk on the phone and this goes for anybody that needs help.....Later Drew

ok let me get this through my thick skull....

3 mm shims on all 8 roll centers which would leave the rear at 1 degree outboard toe

so the front will be 2 mm wider because you need to space the foams out on the hexes further to clear the spindles

You dont have to put the 1mm spacer outside of the hub to clear the steering knuckles. You can trim up the rim on the lathe. Gives more steering.

Ok so 3mm total shims at all 8 spots would be Two 1.5 shims at each of the 8 spots correct? That is what I have now.

Heres my artwork.

Mike,

That would make sense since adding the black (.75 mm) shim add 1 deg... 1.5 will add 2 deg
