Pretty much the material change is it with the only other difference being that the Spring Steel version is not factory assembled. That of course can be good or bad depending on if you wanted to build your own diff or not.

Hey lbckevin:

what gears (pinion & spurs) are you guys running for stock & 19 turn @ SoCal????
48 or 64 pitch???
What final gear ratio are you guys "around"???
I might make a trip down in the next month or so...

I did a little change to the topdeck (took some material away) and do NOT use shims anymore. It did not really change the stiffness of the car.

Yeah if I recall it will come with instructions and the T2 manual covers the full assembly of the diff as well. I recommend you getting some snap ring pliers; makes it a little easier. You pick them up at Lowes or Home Depot.

Default Sway bar on T2

I heard some racers are putting a sway bar up front on the T2's using other manufacturer's parts. Anyone know the part/part numbers being used?

I know Eric Anderson (EA Motorsports) used the Fk05 front sway bar and used collars to center it and used rear mounts to hold it down. If that helps any.

I used my RDX sway on the front and just used FK04/05 rear sway hardware. Like EA, I have to use collars to center the sway.

You do have to trim the RDX sway down a bit.

RDX 1.3mm bar

Not really, can you explain what the problem is?

I use PRS, Kimbrough spurs and TIR, Robinson Racing pinions
