Yep funny thing is...I measured the distance from the Bulkheads to the edge of the chassis as Dave W. suggested..... The Bulk heads have toe built in, is all I will say....

I think that is why when I try the solid top deck it causes an even more Tweak in the car. Once the rear screws are forced into the bulk heads it is causing the car to bind...

I even heard of guys "comparing" chassis and the holes are not in the same places on then chassis!

Anyone tried to compare chassis with another kits!

imprsme....Try this...relax all the screws that are attached to the bulkheads(both front and rear bulkheads) including the shocktowers.
Now relax all the screws under the chassis on both bulkheads.
What I found is that this car needs you to pay a little more attention when you secure the bulkheads to the chassis.(can sometimes be a little crooked)
Now lightly tighten up the new topplate to the bulkheads FIRST.(This should force the bulkheads to align with each other.)
Then move to the bottom of the chassis and tighten the screws up,doesn't matter which bulkhead first, just remember to use the cross pattern method.
Finally, tighten up the shocktowers and you should be good to go.

Good luck.

Has anyone noticed that the rear cvd's barely make it into the driveshaft in the rear.

I just looked at the rear of my car and noticed that. I have the 2 shims in just like the manual says. and my black plastic blades that go on to the cvd are even with the end of the drive shaft. Its hard to explain but the black blade is all in the driveshaft but barely.

In the front its fine. Anyone else see this?

Man, you sure have a LOT of problem with this car. Look at the amt of shims I'm running, it's a hair under 2 degree toe, there is plenty of real estate in the outdrives. Oh, BTW, both my left and right are even!!!

To come with a brand new car and then take 9 seconds (as stated above) off a track record is something quite special, and no car can make that much difference...?

What Cory (and myself) didn't mention is that we changed the layout 2 months ago. With holidays and poor weather, we've only got on the new track a handful of times and the previous track record was ran with about a 3 second wreck added to that time. So his Xray is 6 seconds faster over 20 laps. Off my head, that's about 3.3 tenths a lap over his losi. Our track doesn't fill A-C mains, but every driver in the A is sponsor backed, and is serious about racing.

BTW: Maybe it's just me, but the attitude of this thread seems very smug and pretentious.

Yo Mike. Whattup. Shouldn't you be dremmeling something on your car right now.

About this Saturday. If I dont get parts for my T2 I will not be racing in the trophy race this saturday at SSH. I spoke to Vito and he said he should have parts this Thursday. I will keep my fingers crossed.

re: Berger "man I broke the track record today......"

I thought that was same things I was hearing about the 05 when it came out.

The only problem I am having with the my T2 is the rear toe-in issue.

I dont know what the deal is with mine but I have the 2 spacers in that came with the kit and not like in your picture my blades come all the way even with the drive shaft as does killa g's.

No doubt the car is fast, just gotta get thru the rough times first. I had the tow issue aswell but the car still felt dialed after I did the shim fix. Too bad it's sitting on the shelf broken, that why I held on to the 05 until parts are avail.

Yes. But I give up on it. The front end of the chassis split again this past Sunday during the main we were in. Oh well I guess i could glue it. But you know how I am. Anal to the tee.
