orbital, i have run my car id say with 7 batteries and no failures. Some people have broken some things, and from the sounds of most of those they were pretty nasty hits. Parts are slim at the moment but are on thier way to the hobby shops. The car is simply fantastic. Its easy to work on and drives great, unfortunatly, the lipo batteries will not fit, as the battery is moved as far in as possible, and fit under the right rear bulkhead which is shaped to match the battery. Other then that you seriously cant go wrong with this car.

Default assembly help

Hey guys I'm at the pivot ball into the ball joint part of the assembly process.I used the "Helpful Hint" and installed two 5.8 pivot balls into the correctball joints.I couldn't get the other two to fit. Also, I seem to be short the pivot balls that go into the shock cap ends. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

Just squeeze them in there with some pliers. That trick didn't work for me and actually made me bend one of the rod ends, but luckily it bent back without a problem.

Another unrelated question. Is appears there is some piece of aluminum on the battery side that is rounded. Would that piece of aluminum prevent a lipo battery such as the platinum 4800 from fitting into the car?
Have you tried a P dub front bumper? That may help you some. I have not broken my T2 yet.

if you look on crc's website at the instant new section - it says they will be up in the store tomorrow - i might be picking me up one.

for the p-dub bumper, you can still use your FK05 bumper - just drill some new holes till the official T2 bumper comes out.
