Hi all,

The high pitch sound remind you have reversed the polarity ! Please check the correct placement of the battery in the attached image. (note on the battery bar!)

I hv 3 packs of 3800 non matched. With the teamwave, I noted all the packs have one cell which has lower voltage, ie, 1.08-1.10V whereas the rest are 1.21-1.23V.

Can it be done to replace the 1.10v with the 1.23V so I hv 2 averge voltage pack of 1.23V? (regardless of the battery capacity & I.R.) The remaining can use as a motor lathe batteries.

Has anyone done this before? I read some where from this forum before that dis-soldering & re-soldering of any battery packs will actually do more harm to the pack.

It won't harm the battery to solder/desolder, just make sure you use a 80W-100W soldering iron with a flat good tip and do it quickly. FYI, for better desolder, try to apply new solder to desoder the joint instead of just desolder the battery bar, you shold be able to desolder within 3-5sec. If you can't desolder in 3-5sec, let the battery cool down before another trial.

20Amp pulse discharge can distinquish good and bad cell, if your cell is bad, it will change to linear mode (showing voltage on the screen) very quickly instead of staying in "PULS" mode. This is because the bad cell can't with stand the instant high current draw so voltage drop appear. For simple, this mean that when you trigger your thottle, you will feel lack of punch and power seems come late.

Is there a US dealer? I did notice that we can get these direct for $119. Does that include shipping to the US?

Their shipping in the US is $11.50 for 2-3 days. That adds up to about $132 NOT $150.

There are no "online" taxes in Cali.
I think what he is saying is since he is in Cali, he has to pay the sale tax.
Same for you in Ohio, if you buy from your local store you have to pay sales tax at the counter. Am I right or you guys don't have tax in Ohio ?

We have tax if you buy it in the State. But if you use mail order no tax.
