Default Keyence repair???

Hi,

I have a Keyence Zero V extreme that I bought off of this site and it worked well for about 6 months and now it does not work and I am wondering where in the States do I send it. I did hear that Kim's R/C out in CA does some repairs, but I am unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please e mail me at [email protected]

Thanks, Mike

I sent my Keyence back to Schumacher when I blew it up due to my mistake. They sent out a new one in less than a week. No charge... This was when they first came out little over a year ago, not sure if their service policy changed since.

It depends on where the ESC originally came from. Schumacher is one of several importers of Keyence and can only take care of ESCs imported by them (due to the costs, if they didn't sell it, then they didn't make any money from it). Superior Hobbies (also in FL) is also an importer, as well as some place on the West Coast (Ultimate Hobbies maybe?). Try checking with Keyence, Schumacher or Superior as to what they would recommend...

Just for everyone's information Superior Hobbies is not an Importer for Keyence.

Most of the shops on Keyence's distributor list no longer carry them. Pretty much, if you didn't buy it fron schumacher, you have to send it back to Japan. The guys from Japan said they would replace it for free if I sent I to them and paid for return shipping though.

mo, send it over the water. Shipping can't be that much for a tiny little ESC.
