Not true, they will all fit, but you need to tape the pack in instead of using the stock battery tray pieces. I would personally use the Orion 3600 as it has a little more weight than the 3200. I have run both the 3200 and the 4800 in my car and I think the 3600 would be just right.

You may want to consider buying the Orion 4800 Lipo pack for your GT as it sits better.

I have the 3600 for my '08 but when I tried it on my F103GT, there seems to be room below the pack which I am not comfortable with.

Besides, running with the Orion 4800 will allow you to run much longer. Trakpower 4900 Lipo Pack is another excellent choice, if you haven't bought the Orion's.

What kind of a run time are you getting with the 4800 and a silver can motor?

Depends on your gearing.

If you have a balanced gear ratio (in terms of sufficient torque & speed), you could well run the silver can in your GT for more than 25 minutes.

I ran my GT with 7.5R for almost 18 minutes.

This is my F103. The class runs on foams: Jaco Pink Rear/Purple Front.

How do you like the foams vs the Tamiya tires?

There's really no comparison between the foams and rubber. Particularly under acceleration, it's just grip it and rip it. In my opinion it goes from a novelty to a real race car. It still likes to traction roll, but I'm getting that under control.

I've run my F103gt with foams on carpet and it hooked up very well. It's basically stock except for the TRF shock and aluminum motor mount.

You will need to convert back to the old steering blocks and the old diff axles
the info on the rm is not active on the tamiya site yet

First Canada now the US. Looks like the F103RM w/body will be coming to the US. At the Tamiya USA website it say's coming soon. Also, there is already hop-ups coming out for this car that I never seen Tamiya do. Can't wait to get one
