So is DD cars becoming vogue again? Or are racers sick of wrenching and buying parts?

Carpet racing here is exploding with 1/12th scales

We will take a serious look at bringing back the F103 but with F201 tires. Anyone new to our series can now buy one of these kits and convert over to F1. Goodbye F201.. 18 vs. 70 screws ...

Realistic looks but lets get back to fast, efficient, and easy racing.

John, go take Fred M to Lunch and feed him some sense! I'm really looking forward to the group C and the RWD touring car. I think both would be great fun. Too bad the rumor mill says that Tamiya won't be getting parts to the US for the Group C.
And all we need for that car is the rubber caps re-released.

Ok I am really bummed that this will not be racing this year at TCS. But I'm sure the Past Champs might get a chance to try it out. Maybe with some lipos tucked in there.

Tomdav---Fred did not entirely rule it out, it is hard to add it as a class after TCS has already started.

That being said if there is interest we will run it as a class at our Regional. Not sure what supply will be like in time for 1 April though.

Can't wait to get my hands on this car should be a fun one to drive

Probably could be the Past Champs class at Nats this year, since I don't think it will be released in time for any of the Regionals

What i dont understand is why go for the skinny F103 setup with the servo standing up? that means we all have to shave the ears off a servo. Why not reuse the LM chassis, which its only difference is the laydown servo??? Doesnt make sense to use the standup servo if you ask me. Ill use my TRF which has the LM chassis plate, and make some kind of front bumper. All ill need is the touring hub adapters and rear axle, and a set of body mounts and im away This is going to be SOOOO much more fun than driving 4wd touring cars

I'm going to have mine by March 5th. I might even have 2 or 3. I know there will be more than a few floating around SIR up in Kent before the regional.
