I just want to know why I start kinda poking my head in an F103 thread and asking some questions and people get on edge... like "I" would buy one or something.... AS IF...

Oh Brad... I can't be up dynoing motors anymore. I don't even own a dyno. The joys of running Brushless and Modified. Although I do have an Orion Motor Checker

Gary,
You get an F103GT and it kills the thread.

What are everyone's thoughts on the future of the 2wd chassis - just a flash in the pan, or will other companies come out with their versions,...? Any industry insiders out there that can give us some info?

Personally, I'd like to see more bodies available: more Le Mans, Champ Car / F1, Grand Am (Crawford not Riley body style). How 'bout wider rubber tires for the rear for a more scale appearance.

I like the concept, but I guess I'm not quite ready to dive in until I see the class take off more.

At the Trackside TCs race, Fred (from Tamiya) said they will be releasing more bodies. He did not say how many or when.

I checked tamiyausa.com recently for parts and it looks like they are starting to discontinue some of the parts for this car already.

Yeah, well I have that effect....

I personally don't care if other companies come out with more chassis like this. I bought it for one reason, and that's TCS. Any other chassis wouldn't be TCS legal, so what's the point. I was critical of the decision to go with Sedan wheels and tires, but now it really makes sense.... Sedan tires are available anywhere, the old F1 tires could be difficult to find. Plus, now if you race sedan, you don't need a separate tire lot. Best way to support the class is to buy one and bring it to your local track, run it, and get others interested too. For simplicity sake, at most I would like to see a few additional DP or Can-Am style bodies. Perhaps an updated Toyota LeMans car, or some more classical GTP bodies would be nice too.
