Kimbrough also made spur gears for the Tamiya F1 cars. I don't think they are made anymore but sometimes you can find some older hobby shops that still have some. I just bought some recently.

Back when F102, F103 were used in TCS I remember Tamiya allowing the use of aftermarket spurs. Anyone remember if this was limited to a certain manufacture or if any spur was legal?

Tamiya america hosts the event So unfortunatly it will be their rules. And rules for Nationals are some times different than a regional race.

Now if they approve them for GT3, I will be all set. I can buy 2 more Lipos and not buy the battery of the week. Sweet

I am assuming since he said "our lipos" it would be either the Orion/Peak 4800 or the 3200...or both! I hope they ok it for most of the classes. It makes for closer racing.

I was told that either the 4800 or the 3200 will be legal and I have not gotten any conformation if that means "also" ours or "only" ours. I do remember Tamiya saying something about the batteries must be incased by the manufacturer so since they're are other batteries that come incased they may also be legal but that would have to be verified by somebody at Tamiya.

Well it does take place at Tamiya USA?
