I do not think you are right about that. I think the F103 chassis was the same as the earlier F10x chassis plates. It had the narrow F1 nose. This one is wider, and takes what looks like the Evo III/TB02 front bumper (or something like it). It also looks like it is graphite, which should be good. Otherwise, it appears that it might have interchangeability with the Group C car parts.

Here's an important question: How wide is it? The Group C chassis is ~ 200mm wide overall design (width at the rear wheels), which means that unless you modify the rear end, you have to use Nitro TC bodies on it. The Associated is a true 190mm wide car. I do not know the width of the Corally.

Hi,

I'd buy two, one for Mini who race the heck out of it and one for me who'd run it any change I'd get. I loved the 103 chassis as a F1, and later as a GTP 1 car. (Scotty's was a blast).
I hope it catches on. a cheap fun class for those who don't want to run 4wd sedans all the time. and have no place to run the 10LT's.
I also like Windsorguy99's idea of the blending of this and the 10LT. THAT would be a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

Someone needs to talk to those in Tamiya Headquaters Japan...To include this in next years Tamiya racing series...!!

I just got 'kicked out' of stock class, cause the rules state that anyone who made the A mains in their regional finals cannot race stock class again.

And I don't want to race in GT class,as its quite expensive running touring cars. So I think this would be a great class to run for next year...!!

If there's going to be one....

Default Tamiya DDT

Count me in too, Leester.....I think I got enough 103 parts (as does MPH) to support the war for a couple of years. My bro Steve is DEFINATELY in as well!!!! We should just show up at Scotty's one weekend with these cars with stock motors and and foams, better yet, -- 19T 4cell. Inexpensive Ballistic Heaven!!! Whadya think, Maybe a demonstration class @ the Novak race?????

Thank God!! I did not get rid of all my F103 stuff, this car I think will get that feeling going again that the F103 brought to the TCS. What do think about using the Mabuchi (Black Can) or may bbe the 23T (TZ) or (RZ) Motors with 3700 batteries?
These car would fly on asphalt or carpet, I do believe that this class would bring back the driver into the picture. with all the rubber compunds out there it will be real fun to drive these cars @ Tamiya, can you amagine the speed down the front straight!!!

Can't wait to get a few of the parts to convert the F103 to the DDT Car!!!!!

Steve.
By the way my TAO5 is built and the test team is at full tilt boogy.

They better come out with the Chassis Kit OR Full Hop Up Chassis Kit like F103LM TRF a couple of years back. Cause really miss the F103 class cause the F201 s**Ks and also need a few parts to recondition my F103L and F103RS.

When is it coming out?
This is better than f201 and f103. Those kits had expensive tires and wasn't worth the investment since the tires wear down easily. This one uses standard touring wheels which is an attractive feature.

I think they will make it a TCS class.
Here in Europe there will not be a GT1 class anymore. We only have GT2, Stock and a promo nitro class. It will be a blast driving those and Tamiya wouldn't bother making new parts if they wouldn't make a it TCS class.
