Maybe a Black can or a tamiya RR motor make it a bit faster.

I think out of the box (premounted tires being the exception), silver canned motors (will allow drivers of all skill level to compete-Like GT3) - limited or no hop ups for the first year. Then let the TCS Gods decide on the "real rules" next season.

i think kimbough or robinson used to make a gear for the F103... not sure if they still do, tho... didnt see it on the site anymore.

if i remember right, it was a reg spur, with a larger hole drilled in the center.

Default F103GT vs F201

Wonder if Tamiya will announce the F201 product to be EOL (End-of-Life)?

As seen, http://www.rctech.net/forum/showpost...9&postcount=99

If I remember right, I used an HPI spur on mine. It had the larger opening.

Like this one...it had the pop out center. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXN136&P=7

Yes, it has a purple spacer to insert into the spur gear's main hole.

I still have that on my ol' F103.

Just drop these guys an e-mail and you should be good to go.

They even have some of the hop-ups available.

Yes you can, but the main chassis is different, an there are new front uprights and new rear whell adapters. for the price of the kit about $110 it probably is just best to get the kit.

I was hoping to restore an f103 I have and thought I could use one of the new chassis on it. Does any one know where I could get an f013 chassis and instruction manual?
