Does anyone know where I can get an F1 helmet painted

Try your local hobby shop and ask if they have/know a plastic model builder, that would do it.

The ebay helmets are sweet

...And extremely heavy. I wish they were made out of something a little lighter. :(

I drilled mine out with a big drill bit. They drill out easily, and you can get them to a decent weight.

I love F1, so I have a lot of information of this kind of things. If you need inspiration for your helmets you can check this site to see different models.

Do you have any pics of how you mounted it after you drilled it out?

I want to get one of the ebay ones but want to make sure i can get the weight down and still be able to use it.. Also- Is the scale (size) correct?

I'd have to take a pic, but I just shoe gooed it to the body.

The helmet is virtually the same size as a Tamiya helmet
