i think drag-brake should be designed into blinky mode to atleast 30% at all times...(always on, even when you cut the 'blue wire')

Truck shells used to be really popular for a while on TC's over here in a lot of the clubs. They died out when Yok stopped bringing them in.

The Montech looks great though, I am painting one up at the minute.

I've also been working on a low cost RC racing truck kit with a friend. (Approx £30 for the chassis and shell)

I love the old Yokomo truck bodies, have two done up as drifters. First has a 3rd channel to tilt the cab forward, second is done up in a textured Flat black Mad Max style with barbed wire, machine guns etc. Both have huge rear wings mounted. A very intimidating ride.

We used to race 1:10 200mm with Serpents Truck body back in the mid / late 90's in Germany. I think Tamiya could have had a smash hit if they would of put it on the F103GT platform instead.

What will be more challenging is using Tamiya truck tires and not sedan tires

Yes but then in that case you have to create a challenge reserved for basic Tamiya TT-01 Truck racing kit.

Here we ride with touring cars 1/10 style KYOSHO TF7, X-RAY T4 ... no interest to mount these tires Tamiya on our cars.
