Hi Guys,

Congratulations to all the race winners, and thank you to the Cleveland race crew for putting on the show.

A HUGE congratulations to Mike Dumas and Jake Pritchard for TQ'ing and taking 1st and 2nd in the 12th scale modified A-Main. They both put a lot of hard work and long hours in over the past few weeks, and it paid off nicely.

I'd also like to thank all of their other sponsors for giving Mike and Jake the goods to put their cars up at the front of the pack. To race at this level, you really have to have all of your "ducks in a row". You can have a great driver, and a super handling chassis, but if you don't have the electronics, bodies, tires, equipment, etc. you're just going to be an "also ran" at the end of the weekend.

So....a big thank you (in no special order) to ProtoForm, Novak, JR, KO, JACO, Team Brood, CheckPoint, RC America, and all the others that I can't think of at the moment. LOL.

Also, it was great seeing all of the SpeedMerchant customers at the race. It's always fun to help get you guys dialed in, and receive input on the cars. Thank you for your support.

Congrats to my other A-Main drivers. Chuck Lonegran, Drew Ellis, and Chris Mockerman. Great job guys.

See you at the Birds.

Take care.-Bruce

Why in the world would I ever walk into someones room I dont even really know and take a leak in his bed unless I had a death wish. I'm thinking his roomate has me mixed up with someone else. Definately not my style, definately didnt do it.
Well actually I got the phone call from Arun the "guy" that EA roomed with at around 3AM my time 4AM up there telling me you tried to take a wizz on EA's bed and he had to kick you out LMAO

Come on Dayger just admit you were lit and can't remember

On a side note... just to be fair Arun was lit the night before and played pinball down the hallways trying to get to his room so its also possible he was tanked again and he threw out an escort that Jody Womack called for him and thought it was dayger by mistake LMAO

Default Congrats!!!

Just a short note to congratulate Jim Dieter and Paul Lemieux who won the Modified Touring Class and were the Top Qualifiers. It was the most dominating performance by a driver since the days of Joel Johnson in my opinion.....Paul was in total control and just pulled away from the field....NO CONTEST. Congrats to X-Ray and TrueSpeed

Also congrats to Eddie O and Team Brood for the 1/12th Mod win...first time I met Eddie and I must say he "lived up to his reputation" cool guy.
Good job from Dumas, Team Brood and Speed Merchant

Hope to see everyone in Florida for the Snowbirds!

see, the more I think about it Eric, the more the wrap theory makes sense. I base this because the week before.. traction barely came up at Halo.. and a month ago at the gate... All of these races,, wraps were previlant..

Not knocking them, truth be told, i prefer them.. i think they are awesome tires.. and had I had more than one set for cleveland i would have had a more consistant showing... rather than having to run normal, then wrap.. then back to normal... at any rate.. i feel that theory hits the nail right on the head. Carpet may have played a small role.. but again.. look at the past month. In the years past, the classic usually has traction rolling traction.

I totally agree with your comment, Ernie. I haven't seen such a casual, layed back, total control / dominance of a race since the days of the Magic Man. Both Dieterworks and Paulieworks appeared to have never broken a sweat...just came in, went to work, layed it down, and walked away... Just like the "good old days."

The irony is that it's the effortless-appearing victories that reward the greatest effort.

Oh, on a side note:You may want to inform the Giants of the undiscovered talents of Jim Hermann...after his display of catching Dayger's radio in Jeff's post race celebration, Hermann could sideline half of their starters...

Just fyi its HeRRmaNN. Now famous at the Champs for not only hitting boards so hard he bounces back far enough that he can try the same corner again, but for having soft hands!!! Great job taking your game up another notch!!

Default US Indoor "CHAMPS" RESULTS

Just got back from Cleveland last night and wanted to throw out a few well deserved kudos. Due to a few commitments I was only able to be there for Sunday's mains, but they were so good, that it was definitely worth the 8 hour road trip.

Thanks to Trinity and the entire "Champs" crew for another excellent event!

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the star of the show Paul Lemeiux. Wow, did you and Jim Dieter/Truespeed/Xray put on a "clinic" or what! Close racing is nice, and usually very entertaining, however its great to see someone occasionally go out and "break their backs" the way you did Paulie.

A sincere thanks to all who used our racebodies, but a special thanks to:

Eli Ezrow for his 2 TQ's and 2 Championship wins - a carbon copy of last years achievement! Eli: you always make me look good - much appreciated.
Espo: Your 2nd place finish was impressive as well. As usual, you and Eli had cars that looked as awsome as they ran.

To the guys who gave PROTOform a TQ then a 1-2-3 finish in 1/12th Mod. - THANKS so much! Mike Dumas - its great to see you on top again! Jake Pritchard: you brought back some great memories of the days when you spanked the local hot-shots (like-every time you showed up!). Todd Hodge: wow, that was some kinda awsome driving.
Special congratulations and thanks also to Bruce Carbone/SpeedMerchant for his stellar 1-2 finish and Frank at CRC for his podium finish.
EddieO/Team BROOD: it was great to see your 1-2 finish as well. Wow, some serious horsepower coming out or the great north west.

Stephen Sobottka: thanks and a big "welcome to the team!"

SteveO, Greg K, and Latif: thanks for your support and words of encouragement.

See you all at the 'Birds!

Dale Epp - PROTOform
