With this happening, anyone know if any manufacturers make a box\container to place your battery in while it's charging just in case it does vent, blow up, etc?

Under the circumstances I don't think that it would have helped unless it was something very substantial...

When everything is settled I'm sure that Rick will relay the details...it really was a freak occurrence

Hey all, only have a few minutes here but I thought I'd toss up a few quick photos.

Here are the two big mod winners, the Losi crew, and a couple of shots of Lemieux's race-winning Xray car.

All in all it was a pretty good race, wish I hadn't been on such a whirlwind schedule and had more time to actally do stuff.

well the video will be up tomorrow. I don't know which one first I got all 8 "A" mains. but dayger's was probably the best run. I even got the first hop from jumpy drew ellis and barry bakers flight at the end of the straight. so some good stuff. so go vote on the poll on www.rc50.com

and someone ask dayger why he went into EA's room sunday night slightly liquid happy and tried to mark his territory on EA's bed?

Yeah that EA motorsports guy sent me a PM about it. He says that his roomate told him I walked in there and "tried" to take a leak on his bed. I have no idea where that guy/girl got that from. I was not even at the motel sunday night, I was out to dinner with friends until late. Not to mention, I dont have a clue where those guys were even rooming at. Why in the world would I ever walk into someones room I dont even really know and take a leak in his bed unless I had a death wish. I'm thinking his roomate has me mixed up with someone else. Definately not my style, definately didnt do it.
