No. More of a driver preference for those. Most of us still use stock bars

Anyone have a contact at destiny usa? I couldn't find the option on their site. I was curious about incoming stock option parts. Rather order stateside than Hong Kong!

If you email [email protected] it should get to myself, Johnny Carey, and Scott Jakes. Between the three of us we can get you sorted.

Ran the new SR this week first time. Need an aluminum chassis on CRC black, but car was great even with carbon. I used a modified version of Carey's Can Nats setup and the car was great first time it hit the track. Really impressed with how it turns and how much grip it generates. Now for some options.

Can you really make a handling assessment when running 80t crawler-motor sedan?

Anyone know where to get a tapeless battery hold down system for this?

Previously I modified one from RSD (Christian) to work on another tc I had but I don’t think he sells them anymore.

None that I am aware of, but you could probably use RSD's battery holder and find some standoffs the correct size. I will keep looking.

I purchased a roll of the Slion strapping tape from Xenon. It's supposed to be a little stretchy and not cause tweak - I'll test it this Friday. At first I was skeptical of the tape only/hook less battery mounting on this car but now I like it.

Thanks fellas. Maybe Iíll just cut some out of this 3mm cf. scrap I have.

Also- why is the destiny at 1.85 ir for stock racing when others are at 2.0ir? I know Yoks change to 2.0 pulleys for stock. Thought you want it shorter than longer for stock and better rip?

xray is 1.9
The smaller pulley helps with rotation and corner speed.

since yall are talking tape, i use 2 small pieces of double sided tape at the extents of the battery and used electrical tape as 'confirmation security'. that setup never let me down

Here is my setup sheet from the 2018 MHIC. I qualified and finished 10th in modified. Had hoped for a bit more but luck didn't quite go my way in the mains. The car was quite good, although when traction came up on Sunday I should have made some changes to help settle it down. Unfortunately I just didn't have the time with the schedule and triple mains, so I drove an edgy car for the mains. Let me know if you have any questions.

What would you have changed to make it less edgy? Changes to tire preparation, chassis or both?
