Here's an awesome rollout calculator by Dr_Hufhurr http://2brainsdesign.com/2BrainsDesi...2003.ARMV4.CAB

If it doesn't have your car's internal ratio, then you can go in and edit the .xml file and modify or add the ratios included and then they will be selectable in the pulldown menu

Winds I have spent the last 2 hours tring to do just that and have not had any luck. No matter what I change the default vaule to it will not add it to the list. What could I be doing wrong? I am actually pretty good with computers but for some reason I can't get this figured out. Can you or someone give me a little help here.

Thanks
Scott

Yang just see me at the track I have it in mine pocket pc excel

A1 tire size mm B1 45
A2 pion B2 26
A3 spur B3 96
A4 Ratio B4 =(b3/b2) you would come up with 3.692307692
A5 roll out B5 =B1*3.14/B4 you come up with 38.26875

you can also put in inchs if you want in B1

When I open "appValues.xml" in notepad

it looks like this:
Quote:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<appValues xmlns="http://tempuri.org/appValues.xsd">
<internalRatios>
<internalRatio value="1.0" />
<internalRatio value="1.77" />
<internalRatio value="2.125" />
<internalRatio value="2.50" />
</internalRatios>
</appValues>
I have added lines under internalRatios and they hav shown up on my list with no problems at all.

I was unable to edit directly on the pocketpc though, so I simply copied the file to my desktop, edited it..saved it...then copied it back to my ppc and voila! more internal ratio selections!

LOL I used QP since about 1989, I went through all the upgrades and over time everything I made early on was trashed. I made the switch to Excell about 3 years ago and so far I like it better. Of coruse I had to learn VB but it was worth it.
