I'm a bit surprised by this, because they designed a new pod upper plate that's not shared with any other car?!? So it's not like they're running out stocks of, say, X1'15 upper plates, or something like that, they bothered to make a new one that still uses those inserts?!?

If you need an extra insert, flip the top plate and use the insert from that part in the pod top plate. The shock will have to be made longer and use a nut under the top plate. The car will work better too.
