HI all!!

I have a question to other 16x5v6 charger users, are you able to charge at 6Amp rate on 4 cell 3000/3300 nimh? On mine charger, I have it set at 6Amp but the charger only charge at 5.0Amp rate.
It's able to charge 6cells 3300mha nimh battery at 6.0 amp so it should be able to do the same on 4 cells. Is there a bug on mine charger? thanks in advance

boner : I've noticed that the amp rate builds up as the charge progresses. It must be part of the way the charge method works. If you watch the screen late int he charge, the amp rate builds up to your setting

robk : I did. Something is wrong with my charger. I sit there for 50min to watch it the charger to charge. It start off at 4Amp, fall to 0Amp and move back to 5Amp. It takes about 40 min to charge a Sanyo 3000 or 50 min to charge GP 3300. But when I charge NiCd, it charged at the correct Amp rate. Integy said something is fishy about mine charger and haven't tell me what to do yet. I hope I'll get a reply soon.

You should be able to charge 4 cell packs, as you can set the number of cells from 1-8 (I think it's 8). I use mine to charge the 8-cell pack in my Sanwa Super Exzes transmitter.

Everything work fine on this charger except of the, annoying, charging current during 4 cells NiMH. The charger won't pump out more than 5amp when I charge 4 cell nimh even when I set 6A in the profile.
It will charges 4 cells 2400nicd, 6 cells 2400nicd, 3000nimh, 3300nimh, 7 cells 3000nimh and 8 cells 3000nimh at the correct amp rate as I set on the profile, 6A. I guess it has a thing with 4 cells nimh packs. They are sayno 3000, gp3300.

IR Question

Question, The IR readings you get on your packs, I presume this is in Milli Ohms. But my main question does anyone really know what that relates to for each cell? Is the IR numbers on your cells in Milli Ohms or something else? Just trying to find out this numbers relates to the numbers for IR on the cells.

Thanks,

the IR refers 2 the resistance that you have in ur batt pack as a whole.2 find out for individual cells,u will need 2 charge/discharge the cells separately and get the readings from there...
the more u use the batts, the higher the IR will...
IR will affect the runtime...

I noticed today when I was charging my batteries that ocassionally the charge amps would drop down to 0 then go back up to the set amp rate. Is this normal? The batteries charged well, had lots of punch and run time. Just wondering if this is normal or not.

Thanks,

i noticed this on my charger also...during charging and discharging also...
i thought it could be due to the charger detecting a false peak,...

i agree. i think the charger detects a false peak on its own, stops the charging process and waits for the voltage to settle for a few seconds, then continues charging again. that is why i love this charger so much...no false peaks, not to mention the tons of features
