Just bought one of these chargers. I'm really impressed with it so far.
Just wondering what results ppl have had using the Boost Charge?

It really does boost the punch for the first couple of minutes of the heat/race. I would only advise using it outdoors though, as I cannot really notice a significant difference indoors.

I have a TC2 ESC which has no 'lauch control' function. I can out sprint people to the first corner who are using that function when I've boosted my cells, not when I haven't...

I'm very impressed with everything about mine except the Indiglo backlit display, that doesnt! It stayed lit up for about 4 hours and then died, it comes on for about 10 seconds after I hook the charger to a power supply, stays bright a little bit, flickers, and then dies. If I werent in Saudi Arabia I would send it in to get fixed but buy the time it shipped, got fixed, and shipped back out I'd probably be gone, not to mention I'd be without a charger for at least 6 weeks.

I prefered the Tekin charges way over the Novak chargers before my "retirement" about two years ago. I like the Indi v6 much more than my Tekin chargers. Has everything I need and there isnt a function that I havent used other than the boosting function, which will be used when I get back to the states and start racing again. Its a very capable charger and is quite intuitive as well, I learned all the functions in about 30 minutes. The directions have lots of pictures but arent written as well as they could/should be. Thankfully its easy enough to figure out on your own though.

So, other than the display its a wonderful charger. Hopefully I just got a bad one and others arent having the same results. One thing I did notice however is that mine is slightly different from both the charger on Integys site and the Eagle in the attachment above. The one I have is stickered more like the eagle, a small sticker to the right of the display rather than the one that covers that whole facia like the one on Integys website. The sticker however, has the markings like the one on Integys website rather than the Eagle markings. I'm guessing this was an early run of the charger, maybe that has something to do with the fact that the display took a digger, is it possible it has a different display?

I take that back, mine looks exactly like the link sr posted. I was thinking about the 16X7 that had the sticker covering the whole face, my mistake.

I emailed Integy about the problem and my predicament being out here. Hopefully Integy is willing to bend over backwards and help me out by sending a new display free of charge and trusting me to do the install. I seriously doubt it but I told them I was willing to pay for another one.

Man, I've run in to some issues trying to get my car up and running! All have been minor but when couple with the fact that I'm 12,000 miles away (from pretty much anything, lol) they've been a real pain in the buttola!

Well, I was thinking about getting the one with the Power supply unless you guys think it is better to get the DC and buy a different power supply.

It can be purchase with or without power supply. You can supply your own power supply as long as it has at least 12volts and 7amp output. Cheaper to buy it with power supply from Integy.

With power supply..you have no choice except to get it direct from Integy.

Or you buy the charger from Speedtech and look for a powersupply on ebay. I was able to get a 14amp power supply w/LCD readout from ebay for under $30.00.
