The only thing I don't like about this motor is that trail of grease that flows out behind the car and onto the track.

That's an additional competition feature!! It leaves the track surface behind your vehicle all slippery, thus preventing your competitors from turning laps as fast as yours!

Tower doesnt show these in stock .. The arm has more meat in the center so it wont bog down. It will have more bottom punch and probley be able to go a tooth up on gear from a monster. Its probley not gonna have as much rpm as a monster but that is a guess.

Default CO27

We received a very small sample run of these motors to make sure there were issues and or problems. I can tell you that this was the "best samping" we have ever experienced with a stock motor.

The only CO27's currently out there is the one purchased at auction on the Trinity site and we have just released a small amount to our "best hobby shops"

We are hoping to have another "very small sampling at the Snowbird race"

And then in full production hopfeully by mid to end of Feb.

There are no problems which are causing setbacks. Our major issue was the "long Japanese holiday" which affected ALL of our delivery of our products and "where to plug the new products (CO27 and C2) in......

Hope this info helps.....Ernie

Ernie
From reading on here, it sounds like this motor is going to be more touring car based.

Do you feel for Oval that the Epic Roar stock or Monster will still be the better motor ?

Honestly our experience has been with stock motors.....that the overal best stock motor will work in any scale regardless of the class. WE FEEL we have done this but you guys will decide if thats true.

I feel it is our best "effort to date"

I am sure the wait will be worth it. Trinity has always been a leader in stock motor technology, either on a club race level or as a handout motor they perform time after time.

I got to check out a sample this past weekend...all I will say is you will not be dissappointed in the performance of the CO27 Stock motor...
Nice job to the boys in Trinity's R&D...

Is there a list of these "best hobby shops" anywhere?
