Take care!
p.s. I heard somebody shot a video of the last main. I wonder if somebody could post it. It'll be interesting to see how nervous I was...you can see the car dart around down the straight because of HRS+Nerves=Swerving hehe

@ racenut123
so you finally got the oneway. I´m glad it´s working for you as good as it´s working for me. As there is no track near my home I had about 40 runs only with this oneway since now but I´m still using first ring gear and also first pinion gear with it.

I saw racenut123's new oneway last night. The unit is sweet~! Looks like it will work really good.
Also talked to Jimmy J about the front bulkheads. He said that the TAMIYA Team builder taked about 20-hours to build each bulkhead for each driver. The team bulkheads are made out of the same material as the harden 414 arms, very nice. Now only if they where availible for us guys.

yah... i did shim up the one end of the one way... find it kinda loose... the 3 bearings securing the shaft.... seems like it's goin on a merry go round.. so found a very thin layer of double sided tape and round up the bearing.....
still experiencing problem esp after crashes..... will try another way out of this misery......

I noticed that the drive shaft is too short, narrows at the tip, and has play, so the tip of it doesn't go into the front pinion all the way like it does in the rear which will cause it to strip. I shimmed the drive shaft to help keep the drive shaft tip as far up in the front bevel pinion as posible for more bite , but the shaft still needs to be a little longer. It still strips, but not as qwik as b4. Plus my driving got a little better...hehehe, but novice driver or good driver the car should still hold up IMO. After all its a Tamiya! I'm hoping the Tech-Racing shaft ends will fit into the front bevel pinion better than the Tamiya shaft and solve this problem.
I shouldn't have to spend 4300 yen on a gotdam shaft after paying $375-$400 for a race ready kit. Just my 2 cent
Still love the car tho

I may have to get a few of them there pengiun carbon plates. They look a lot lighter than the aluminum one that I'm running now hehe.
That one-way is trick. It's great to see one-way gear solutions being developed and being made available to the general public.

My friend bought the red tool set, pretty much looks like the blue tool set. I have the blue tool set and the tips break easy(Mainly the 1.5mm). Also striped one of the set screws on the handle. Not very good. They look nice though~!
