I was not using brakes ... but I was taking the throttle off completely before entering the corner at the last moment! I have the KO PRO transmitter and can surely adjust the drag brake ...

Shall I increase of decrease the drag brake? And what effect does this make?
You did not mention earlier that you had over steer entering a corner.

I for one would not use your radio or alter your driving style to fix the problem. However, turning your brakes down to 20-50 percent is okay. That way they aren't full lock when you apply them but slow the car down before or during cornering. This pretty much takes away any panic brake so think ahead

A relatively simple solution would be to decrease the amount of droop in the rear, thereby decreasing the amount of weight transfered to the front. You can also try going one spring up in the front. You can try kick up in the front A block as well. There are many things that you can do but the most important thing is to maintain balance.

anyone here know how to read Japanese or at least help translate an article?

i'd post it here. but i think it'll be larger than average size for the forum to handle. guess i'll need everyones approval before posting.

this article talks about the Evo III and the SD. conversion maybe? not too sure.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The LRP Quantum C2 costs 31300 yen including EMS delivery! I think it will amount to something less than USD300.

I cannot find the setup instructions on the LRP website ... anywhere else?

ok this is to set up the speedo to the transmiter.
turn transmiter on then speedo
press the set up button [keep it in]
then the led will flash then live the transmiter in neutral and push the set up button.
then the motor should bleep pull the throttle to full power on the transmiter and while doing so push the setup button again.
then the bleeping should stop then pull the transmitter to full brakes and press setup button.
then it should be set up to transmitter.

ok to adjust the punch intial brake etc is a bit more complicated.

hold the mode button down then you should get a flashing green light.this is the punch control
you can check the set value[1-5] by counting the red led flashes [1 flash equals value 1,2 flashes equals value 2 etc.]
you adjust values by pressing setup
press mode button again and this will bethe intial brake again we havesetting 1-5.
press mode again and we have automatic brakes set up [drag brakes]
with 1-5 settings.

on the punch control 1=smooth 5=mega punch
on the intial brake 1=linear 5=progresive
on the drag brakes 0=off 5=strong

default setting is

punch=2
intial brake =2
drag brake=0

hope this helps.
