Default F201 Battery Switch

I was wondering if anyone out there has converted their f201 from using stick battery packs to using the side by side configuration? I want to do that, but I am not sure how to do that with keeping the batteries in. I have the 3racing carbon chassy, but the battery doors are designed for the stick packs, so I am not sure if this can work.

I'm in the process of doing that right now

It appears as though you take the bump off the top of the remmoveable side to allow the clips to sit lower
on the other side you chop off several mm of the round post and put spacers in the gap, this appears to work but I'll tell you on Wednesday after I have had a run with the car modified like this

I think I know how you did that. How did it work? Could you send me any pix of it?

it works a treat, unfortunately I dont' have a digi camera so no pics ATM

just be careful when cutting the plastic on the non removable side, the front has to have more taken off than the back
