The rubber tires for the LM were expensive. I hope they make cheap for this one.

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the new Direct Drive TC from Tamiya. you think that we could have something going as to new spec classes? I could see a true GT1 class for the DDTC and then a GTP class for the Group C cars. thoughts?

i think it'll only go as far as people will support it. if people buy it and race it.. it'll succeed. looks like a low maintenance car that's lots of fun to drive. in talking with the old school TCS guys.. they said the F103 chassis was the most fun to drive.

I guess the 787 is not coming to the states. I heard it was a smaller sponsor not allowing use of the logo!!!

Smile Fond memories

With all this talk. I cant wait to get my Jag. Will bring back some very fond memories of Davey Jones and Price Cobb driving them in the old IMSA series. Sure would like the Nissan version. David and Chip sure put the pedal down in them Nissans. Was lucky enough to get a look threw NPTI in Vista. Early 90's. Also very lucky being 18 at the time finishing my last year of high school and landed a job with Hotchkis Racing who ran the early and later Protofab Porsche 962 and then the later Ponitac Spice. Man them where the days. Only better racing I could think of was the early 70's with Trans Am racing

Easiest way is to just buy the Tamiya Indy (could be Lola - the memory fades) wheel set and glue up some proline or Associated donuts. Problem then is getting a tyre truer with the proper fittings to take teh wheels.

Latest word is that Tamiya has delayed the overseas release of the 787B until the end of the year.
