They are RSD, but don't seem to be on the AE section of their website. I'm sure someone could confirm though.

Some nice new products from RSD listed today, but one question, does the Awesomatix LS2 (as seen in the above pic), fit without any mods?

NORTH

Just kidding, they are RSD as the previous poster said, but they are out of stock. Send an email to RSD and find out when they expect more. The nice thing about these is they come with a spacer that makes it fit normal batteries and when you take out the spacer, they fit the new low CG batteries perfectly.

EDIT: You can also PM "ChristianTabush" here on RCTech and he should be able to tell you when they will be in stock.

The width matches perfectly, you do need a custom height post to fit it, don't remember exactly the height, but I will find out.

The feel of the linear steering is very nice. Much smoother steering response and less steering throw seems to be called for to get the same amount of steering.

Default Rear toe problem

I remember the discussion about the rear toe being off side to side by a 1/2 degree.
What is the cause, I put mine on a set up station and it was off. I had to put a 1/2 degree less pill in to make it right.
Cause?
Fix’s?
Thanks and God Bless

When I originally built the car I had the same problem. Just swapped out all the pills with different ones and the problem went away.

Yes just swapped out with different ones that came with the kit. Figured one of the pills wasn't molded or marked properly? Either way I'm not really sure but I haven't had a problem on any of my other kits.

Anybody have any ideas about softening the suspension on the TC7.1? Any softer shock combos?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Don’t have a set up handy, but here are some starting points.
Myoull want the chassis as flexible as possible and suspension pretty soft.

Carbon chassis, only 4 screws in top deck.
Steering attached only to chassis, not to servo mount.
25-27.5 oil in the PSD shocks
Grey and white springs
Lightweight rear diff, under 3k
Front diff with 300k
Low roll centers, no shims under toe blocks
Start with stock toe block width in rear and 2dot in on front. Adjust width as needed from there.
Start with stock wheelbase and move rear arms back as needed.
Start with stock sway bars, soften as needed.
Ride hight 6-6.5
More than usual droop.
Use STX max the protoform tires the night before and let sit in ziplock overnight. Clean with simple green before running for the day, then leave them be during the day. The first few laps of your practice run will be a little slick, but they get better the more you run them. I noticed that the tires were better after the sauces I was using wore off. They seem to work better clean outdoors. Tire warmers help if you have them.

You may also want to lower the punch setting on your ESC to help control some of the wheelspin.

Hope this helps.

Today I put in quite a few battery packs on a new TC 7.1 on low to medium grip asphalt in 17.5. My times got quicker as I got used to the car. I used Rick's set-up posted from the 2016 Nats at my home track Valkaria R/C. The car was pretty good for sure. However, for the last battery I put on the RSD vertical top deck. I only used the 1 center cross brace. The car instantly become super dialed. It was unbelieveable to be quite honest. It was without a doubt the single biggest (most effective) change I have ever made to a car. Almost hard to explain. I have 3 Schumacher Mi5evo's and I like the flex from the top decks, so I thought I'd take risk and try the RSD piece. All I can say is wow! Hands down the best car I have ever driven on my home track!
