We are expecting to see the production car in the fall. I'd expect it will include standard pistons with PSD remaining an option part.

He's probably referring to the holder being slightly canted. The bar itself is fine.

Randy do you feel the car may be shelf ready/retail "in" fall, or just a announcement? the reason I ask it is usually a few months after the announcement we get kits, parts etc.

Has the 7.2 been developed with high grip carpet tracks or will it also work on medium grip asphalt tracks?

Is there somewhere we can see some pictures? I'm curious about the motor support...

Chris Grainger has been running it here in Europe on low/medium grip asphalt. Looks to be a good step over the 7.1.

Will there be a new roll bar mounting system for the 7.2 @Randy Castor?

I had heard that the TC4, TC7 and 7.1 have been discontinued. I emailed Associated and asked about it. That is correct. They are not sure of the release date for the TC7.2 or whatever it will be called.

Randy posted a couple pictures of the 7.2 on Facebook this past weekend. Looks like the same sway bar mounting system to me (mind you it could still be changed on the production car). Motor mount also looks great!

I'm not sure why AE would stop stop importing Tc7.1 kits if the Tc7.2 kit is still not designed yet , maybe they are too busy putting out offroad kits ( b6.1, b6.1d, T6.1,T6.1d, SC6.1, SC6.1d)

When he answered my email he really didn't give a reason. I would think they would continue to support the TC7.1 until the new car was in production and may be it will be out soon. Off road cars/trucks are more popular. It's probably good business to invest time and money into the cars that sell. When I was at Windy City Sunday to practice the off road track was constantly busy and the on road track was not nearly as busy.
