Obvious question first: have you checked for equal left/right weight distribution and equal ride height settings?

Default 21.5 or 17.5

Hey Guys,
Has any of your clubs tried a 21.5 Touring class? I know USGT runs 21.5. I noticed that one of the regional big races, Mile High Champs is going to run a 21.5 Touring.
I thought it might be something to explore.
Thanks and God Bless

My home track runs the class and we have a big track too. Lots of arguments on here both for and against the class but for whatever reason it has really taken off.

Asymmetrical chassis drag will happen on any on-road car if there is a large, sweeping corner that is taken at speed. Nothing to worry about.

On an average size, indoor carpet track, try somewhere in the neighborhood of 3.8-4.1 FDR. 48/96 is probably a good starting point. That's where the M3 likes to be. Season to taste.

The FDR is a lower numeral, but the gearing is higher. You will have less top end at 45/96 than you will at 48/96. You're geared pretty low for that large of a track.

The older motors aren't as powerful or vented quite as well either, so keep that in mind. Since track size, layout and traction level can all affect the usable powerband of a given gear ratio, I believe the best practice is to gear it as high as possible without it going over 150F. Make sure you have a fan on it at all times. For added reliability, I'd recommend getting an 8.4v fan and wiring it directly to the positive and negative battery lead poles on the ESC.

I run mile high indoor champs this year and i think 21.5 is just one more slow class. i run usgt and 17.5 stock i like the speed a good 21.5 motor will keep up with a 17.5 so this is not the way to slow the cars down.

Default Looking for TC7 Hinge Pins Part #31677

Hello fellas. I need a hinge pin set part # 31677 but they seem to be sold out everywhere. Can someone tell me where they can currently be purchased or some for some for another car that will fit? I need the smaller ones that go on the outside of the arms that hold the knuckles and C arms in place. Thanks in advance.
