Sorry i'd just seen that. Machining cost is 49 for the chassis itself, 12 for the battery strap and 7 for the motor guard. I've just realised you're in the US so it'll sound very expensive for you ($85 for a chassis i'm not sure you'd pay that, but hey, that's what we get to pay over here).

Actually, that's not too much more expensive than buying direct from Tamiya. Should you decide to do a small run, I'd be interested in picking one up.

I don't think i'll do a small run right now. Reason is, i've done that for shock towers, result is i've got 26 pairs of X-Ray shock towers here, that i've paid and that people who have said will buy some didn't at the end. So if i make some, it'll only be to people who are willing to pay in advance, I don't want to end up with 300 worth of parts sitting in my box again.
