I'm surprised, with Yok tyres which are Pit copies, I've 5,5 at the rear without shims. The issue, for me, was at the front, I had to get shorter Xray standoff to be at 5 mm as the rules in France said for indoor.

Flipped them both ways. Ride height is either 3.0mm or 4.2mm. We were running the Shimizu 572 or CRC equivalent at Mile High last year. Just bolted a set of Shimizu 572 rears on and raises to 4.6mm rear but does not help for when it will be run outdoor on the softer rear tire.

well another option would be to mount up the P10 motor plates and left plate. This will lower your axle and raise your ride height...

Just need the left and right aluminum mounts, no other pieces ? All other stock parts will bolt up with no modifying ? If yes, can you confirm part numbers for the two pieces. Worth trying. Thank you.

it will bolt up. as would the P12 2015/2016 pod plates. the major difference is height of axles. 1/12 is the lowest. p10 is the middle. f1 is the highest. folks who wanna convert a p10 to rubber tires / wgt-r just use the f1 bulkheads.

On Kyle's Stock Wars setup...

No shims on top of kingpin so more droop? Anyone still using this or more standard 2 shims?

I run 2 shims on top, 2mm spacer above knuckle with 1 shim, and 1 shim below knuckle, and 1 shim above spring under lower arm. Gives me 1mm droop in front

P10 mounts did not work on the F1. Screw holes in the F1 are farther apart than the P10. However.... I changed to the aluminum rear pod plate (2.0mm vs. 2.5mm carbon) and that got me up to a 5.0mm rear ride height. Very happy with the car. With only one day of tuning and changing something every run including from Q2 to the main, was able to work up from 8th to 4th and just off the tail of the podium spot. Will have a good outdoor set-up with one more day practice on it. Going to change over to carpet set-up now and look forward to running the Roche at the MHIC race at Mile High in April for her first F1 carpet race.

Kevin or anyone else. Have you tried raising the rear pod roll center? This is done by placing shims between the chassis and pivot ball assembly on the 2 crews that hold it into place and remove the appropriate shims from the front link mount point. What I'm currently doing and everyone at 5280 that owns a Roche F1 now has done this and seen an improvement. Remove the 1 mm shims from the front link mount point and place them under the rear pivot ball assembly. Effectively raising the rear pod 1mm. Makes the car rotate better from the rear. When the grip is high I also only dope the center of the rear tire. About the width of the SXT dauber which is about 60-70% of the tire.

This car has been very dominate at 5280 since Kyle and I started running it here.
