Default Hobby Shop San Diego?

Hello all,

i live in Australia and in January i am talking a holiday to San Diego. I want to purchase some high end racing gear and dont any hobby shops there. Does anyone know of any good hobby shops that are good and of use.

Please let me know.

i live in Sd and i go to the one in convoy and they are alright... its called hobby people

i also go to one in san marcos and its called hobby town

If you are willing to take a little drive from downtown SD, check out Hobby Central in Poway. Here is their link

You've got Hobby Central in Poway, Discount Hobbies in Kearny Mesa on Clairmont Mesa Blvd. There's a few Hobby People Stores including the one on Convoy St, one on Broadway in El Cajon, and one in Escondido. Hobby Town in San Marcos also carries a lot of stuff.

Take a drive north to orange, and check out ultimate hobbies if you want a huge selection.

Totally agree- head to Ultimate Hobbies in Orange County for the better selection. About 1.75 hours away but it's worth it and a very nice scenic drive up the 5 freeway to boot
